SCRA Enhancements and Upgrades – Military Search Plus

Military Search Update

We have recently added a new transaction to our SCRA services, called the Military Search Plus.

This new transaction brings new functionality to the suite – users can now perform a military search on multiple parties simultaneously. The multiple-party search adds repeatable Party information and gives the option to consolidate the returned results into a single PDF document.

The response to the request also contains the number of searches and SSN lookups performed, saving the time and effort of generating multiple individual searches and condensing the results after the fact.

SCRA 2
An example of a High Level response.

Pricing will remain the same for the traditional Military Search transactions.

Future enhancement plans include enabling a search to include name permutations (AKA, KA, etc.). We welcome suggestions for additional upgrades to the functionality of the SCRA services.

Ocwen Equator Transition – Updates for Attorney Firms

equatorOcwen logoTransition from Ocwen to Equator Update

We have new updates regarding the transition from Ocwen to Equator.

The cut-over has been enabled for the bankruptcy referrals, and we can currently send 95% of the data elements from the Equator site.  If your firm wishes to receive these referrals please contact us.

We have heard that the cut-over date regarding foreclosure referrals is scheduled for March 3rd. Once this transition is made a testing period will be needed to ensure the service is 100% accurate with the production site.

REALRemit™ has not changed, but we are awaiting any announcements regarding the transition.

Document uploads are currently still on ResWare and do not have a cut-over date announced at this time.

NetDirector will continue to monitor the status of any changes and updates regarding this transition. In addition, we will build any integration to the data interface as part of this transition. We are committed to making this transition smooth for our current clients, and we look forward to working with you.

The Fannie Mae Eviction, Title, and Closing Orders are also available for testing.

If you have any questions regarding the transition, please fill out our contact us form or contact your Integration Analyst today.

NetDirector’s Roadmap to 2020 Part 1

We recently held our annual Strategic Planning meeting. This year, instead of doing the same old SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) we tried a new approach called SOAR (Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, and Results).

Drawing - Dare to DreamThe SWOT method has worked for many years, and is still a valid way to make a business plan and set goals. However, we were looking for a way to get more employees involved and to take a more positive approach to the overall process.

One of NetDirector’s owners and their daughter have been utilizing the SOAR method with other companies with much success and suggested that we try it too.

Drawing - Design Part 1 & 2The strategic planning meeting was open to the entire company, which over half were able to attend. It was a full day event and held off-site so that there were no major work distractions.

The main goal of this meeting was to get as many new ideas as possible with the underlying theme that no idea is bad, which kept the meeting on a positive note throughout the entire day.

NetDirector’s Solution to the Healthcare Industry’s Lack of Interoperability

HealthData ExchangeThere have been many cases made as of late about the lack of interoperability between healthcare providers and their EMR software and HIE’s. The difficulties healthcare providers have trying to manage their patients’ records across these systems is costly to their bottom line and can be detrimental to the security of their patients’ records.

Here are two recent articles about the need for interoperability in the Healthcare Industry:

Integrated care needs comprehensive exchange by Charlotte Hovet, MD, physician executive and clinical informatics specialist at Dell Healthcare Services – “Until EMR software becomes interoperable and patient-focused, a powerful integration engine and an HIE capable of creating a unified patient record can bridge the gap and help healthcare organizations deliver better outcomes at lower cost.”Continue reading

Data and Document Exchange Solution for the Mortgage Banking – Field Services Industry

NetDirector’s data and document exchange automation for Field Services is the industry solution to the ongoing profitability struggle being played out within every regional preservation company throughout the country. With combined executive operating   experience leading both a national contracting firm followed by CEO of a multi-state regional preservation company, I learned first-hand the immense difficulty in modeling an efficient and compliant back-office processing unit. I learned that in order to maintain timeline compliance and train staff members that were subject matter experts in both the preservation business as well as for their assigned client system(s), the bloat that is created within the operations department is grossly unsustainable. Since joining NetDirector, I have had many conversations with regional preservation executives and EVERY discussion has confirmed this remains the case in today’s market and represents enormous risk to the regional firms, their national contracting clients, and to the mortgage servicing arena itself.

Combine those facts with the reality that compliance standards, along with the associated costs, are only going to continue to increase as the mortgage banks/non-bank’s compliance standards continue to evolve due to the pressures of the increased scrutiny by the CFPB, FHFA, and other industry regulators.

Steamlining Service of Process (SOP)

A foreclosure case is referred to an attorney by a mortgage loan servicer to represent them in foreclosure proceedings. A process server is hired by the attorney to physically deliver foreclosure related documents to all defendants on a foreclosure case. Most Judicial states require service of process (SOP) to be carried out by licensed process servers. Some process servers provide other field services such as: tenant inspections, sale attendance, Blog_serving_papersoccupancy verification, etc.

As the mortgage banking industry embraces electronic data exchange – major process servers such as ProVest and Firefly Legal have enabled their proprietary case management systems to transmit data and documents with their trading partners (i.e.: attorneys). There are also SOP software providers such as: Database Services/Process Server Toolbox and LoyalDog Software that are interface enabled.
